The Town Study Steering Group (a committee made up of the Town Council, local organisations and businesses) have just completed a project to design, purchase and install ‘Love Llantwit Major’ and ‘Caru Llanilltud Fawr’ flags around the Town. The ten flags will be left up throughout the Summer to provide additional colour to the area, promote tourism and act as a gateway leading visitors to all areas of our historic town.
We would like to say a big thank you to Darren Witts of Treganna Designs for kindly designing our flag free of charge.
Also, a further thank you to all the shops and restaurants that kindly allowed us to put up the flags outside their premises.
The Group are hoping to investigate using the ‘Love Llantwit Major’ design further to produce cotton bags, car stickers and key rings to further promote Llantwit Major to residents and visitors to our wonderful town.
