Congratulations to Llantwit Youth Council who are the winners of Wrigley Litter Less Campaign National Award 2019. The award is for the Youth Council’s Litter Report which has won first place for the Article 15-18 Category.
Young Reporters for the Environment Litter Less Campaign is an international journalism competition run in Wales by Keep Wales Tidy on behalf of FEE (The Foundation for Environmental Education). It empowers young people between 11-25 to take a stand on a global fight against litter and articulate these issues through writing, photography and video.
Llantwit Youth Council investigated areas surrounding the local schools, leisure centre and shopping areas and suggested changes the local community could do to improve the litter problem.
