Llantwit Major Best Front Garden Competition
Llantwit Major Town Council, the Town Study Steering Group and Llantwit Major Horticultural Society ran a competition this year throughout the ward for the best front garden.
There were many entries and the judges had a difficult decision deciding on the overall winner. The judges marked on five criteria:
Visual Display, Design, Plant Variety, Maintenance and Environment
We are pleased to announce the winner is Mrs Perla Kirkham. The judges were impressed that in a small area she had managed to create a front garden full of colour with great plant variety.
Detailed below is a picture of Perla receiving her Winners Trophy from the Town Mayor at the Annual Horticultural Society Annual Show held in Llantonian Hall on Saturday 17th August 2019.
